A LaFerrari is rarely for sale. Those held by celebrities are quite rare.
This unique Ferrari, owned by Travis Scott, is up for sale at a huge price. It turns that Floyd Mayweather’s vehicle person helped sell it. Scott bought the 2014 LaFerrari in 2019.
After a few years, he traded the supercar for an Aperta. The LaFerrari went to Obi Okeke, aka Dr. Bugatti, who purportedly aids Mayweather with his ridiculous vehicle collection.
Okeke sold the supercar to a Silicon Valley Ferrari outlet for its extraordinary worth, given its rarity (1 of 499) and the rapper’s ownership.
Scott owned a LaFerrari with minimal information. Now that it’s on the dealer’s website, we know more, including that the Rosso Corsa Ferrari has Pelle Nera Dettagli Rossi inside. It has just 4,403 km (2,736 mi) since new.
The LaFerrari’s mid-rear-mounted, 6.3-liter V12 engine is from the FXX development model. Its V12 produces 789 horsepower at 9,250 rpm with a ridiculous compression ratio of 13.5:1.
The 516 lb-ft of torque arrives just under 7,000 rpm. The rear has a 161-hp electric motor from the company’s Formula 1 Kinetic Recovery System (KERS), increasing reaction and acceleration at lower rpms. Power goes to the rear axle, and a seven-speed dual-cluth transaxle shifts gears.
The two powertrains produce 949 horses and 663 pound-feet of torque, pushing the slippery LaFerrari to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 2.4 seconds.
