‘YOU ARE IGNORANT’ – Jurgen Klopp Slams Amazon Prime Presenter for Joke About Liverpool’s Early Kick-off Against Crystal Palace πŸ—£οΈπŸ”΄

ο»ΏAngry with the Amazon host for making a lighthearted comment about Liverpool’s early kickoff time against Crystal Palace on Saturday, Jurgen Klopp called him ‘absolutely uneducated’.

Liverpool’s victory over Sheffield United on Wednesday brought them to within two points of Arsenal atop the Premier League standings, but Klopp was not in the mood for lightheartedness.

The Reds manager has already expressed his displeasure at having to play the opening game of the weekend and criticized Marcus Buckland of Amazon Prime Sport for his “disgraceful” remarks made in his post-game interview.

“You’ve had to shuffle your pack you’ve got all these games in Europe and now you go to Crystal Palace – your favourite kick off time at the weekend,” was the question posed to Klopp while he was speaking on the field at Bramall Lane.

The German was clearly irritated and responded sarcastically, “That’s great, that’s really great to make a joke about that,” setting up a really awkward exchange.

‘You’ve still got the passion, you’ve still got the enjoyment,’ Buckland said as he skillfully attempted to defuse the heated exchange with his line of questions. It never stops, day in and day out.

The Liverpool manager, however, was unyielding and stuck to his terse style, answering, “Yeah, now we go home, I don’t know what time we arrive, maybe one o’clock or two o’clock, and then we play again, we might have two sessions.” Friday and tomorrow.

It’s okay to heal before we resume play. That’s okay because Crystal Palace is playing again tonight. However, even though you work in football, I realize you don’t comprehend that as well, so why should I try to explain it again?

“You’re utterly ignorant if you make fun of that.” However, watching good football is entertaining. Everything is well.

The host then said he wasn’t attempting to be “disrespectful” and even offered an apology. He was joined by former Liverpool player Steve McManaman. Klopp refused to accept it.

“I’m not trying to be disrespectful; it’s just one of those things that comes up,” Buckland stated.

“You were already,” said Klopp, to which Buckland replied, “Okay, well, I apologize to Jurgen.”

“It’s okay, you can say whatever you want, but I can’t say what I want because that would be different,” he said.

The interview concluded with the Amazon host wishing Liverpool the best of luck versus Palace. Klopp responded by saying, “You go tell Crystal Palace that as well.” Many thanks,” he said, throwing down his microphone and heading off.
