The world took notice when Zlatan Ibrahimovic purchased the highly coveted Ferrari Monza SP2 supercar.
The Swedish male player’s 1981 birth year has thrust him into the spotlight as he became the latest celebrity to own the jaw-dropping “roofless” Ferrari Monza SP2.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic, a famous soccer player, was seen driving the Monza SP2, a million-dollar Ferrari masterpiece with a unique roofless design. In addition to other highly sought-after models such as the LaFerrari and the Porsche 918 Spyder, Ibrahimovic’s collection now includes this addition.
Officially debuted in 2018, the Ferrari Monza SP2 and its twin, the SP1, are considered Italian art masterpieces and inaugurate Ferrari’s new Icona supercar brand. These models capture the essence of Ferrari’s rich racing history, taking design cues from the brand’s historical racing icons like the 750 Monza, the 860 Monza from the 1950s, and the 1948 166 MM.
Although the Monza SP1 and SP2 have a similar design language, the SP1 is designed to mimic the exhilarating feeling of Formula 1 racing with its single-seat layout and lack of a windshield. However, the SP2 version comes with an extra passenger seat, so two people can enjoy a more exciting ride.
