Guide to Winter Photography on a Road Trip to the Lofoten Islands by Expert Vagabond
In order to get stunning photographs of the breathtaking landscapes in this remarkable region of Norway, I opted to lease a vehicle and embarked on a 10-day expedition throughout the Lofoten Islands, armed with my camera. I embarked on a quest to witness the elusive phenomenon of the Northern Lights, discovered secluded beaches that were not easily visible, and traversed through thick layers of snow during my hiking expeditions.
The winter season in Lofoten offers excellent conditions for photography due to the limited daylight and the prolonged duration of sunrises and sunsets. Constantly witnessing the aurora and the pristine, snow-covered hills is merely an added advantage.
