JAMIE CARRAGHER has hilariously trolled Gary Neville with a cheeky Christmas jumper ahead of Manchester United’s trip to Liverpool on Sunday.
The Red Devils visit Anfield for the first time since March’s 7-0 Premier League thrashing.
Jamie Carragher trolled Man Utd with a hilarious Christmas jumper
Gary Neville was not happy as he was reminded of United’s 7-0 defeat to Liverpool
Stars like Darwin Nunez and Mo Salah caused chaos for Erik ten Hag’s team on a dismal day.
And with United coming off a 3-0 home loss to Bournemouth, and Liverpool leading the standings, many are forecasting a scoreline similar to that this weekend.
The Red Devils were also dumped out of Europe this week as they lost 1-0 to Bayern Munich.
But Carragher compounded United and pal Neville’s misery by dusting off his best Christmas jumper.
The Anfield legend wore a knitted top showing him smiling in front of a dour Neville with “7-Nil” in the background.
The festive jumper was completed with Carragher saying in a speech bubble: “Oh I wish I could relive this everyday…
“When the Kop starts singing and the Reds being to play…”
.
Neville wasn’t too impressed with the cheeky dig as he later joined Carragher on Sky Sports.
Pointing to the sweater, Neville said: “Smells of arrogance. And arrogance is the surest path to failure.
“Are you watching, Manchester United players? Are you looking at this man’s arrogance?”
.
The hilarious banter certainly delighted many football fans though.
One said: “Where can I buy this?”
Another declared: “Looking good mate.”
One noted: “Need a link Carra.”
Another added: “Waiting for Neville’s comeback.”
