CAN’T BE CALM: Andre Onana makes Virgil Van Dijk upset with a series of actions taunting Liverpool in Man Utd’s draw

After Manchester United and Liverpool drew 0-0 at Anfield, Virgil Van Dijk went on his feud.

At Anfield, Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United were outstanding defensively, and Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool were growing increasingly irritated as the game progressed.

Onana had the perfect response after helping his side avoid another thrashing

Although Liverpool controlled the ball and the majority of the territory during the match, they were unable to consistently generate clear-cut opportunities against the Red Devils, therefore a point was a more than acceptable outcome.

Rasmus Hojlund had a great chance to give the visitors the lead, but Alisson denied him, so United may feel unlucky to leave Anfield with nothing more than a point.

Onana was adamant before the game that he was very than capable of playing for the Red Devils, and he demonstrated this in Merseyside by making a number of excellent saves to prevent the hosts from delivering the game-winning blow.

TalkSport’s Alex Crook claims that Onana and Van Dijk had a heated conversation as the teams were leaving, which will delight United supporters.

The Dutchman is said to have approached United goalkeeper Onana in the tunnel as the players made their way to their repective dressing rooms.

It’s alleged Van Dijk then said to his opponent: “Because of you we only played a half hour game.”

However, Onana is said to have delivered the perfect response.

Rather than rising to the remark, the Cameroon star simply smiled back at Van Dijk before heading off.

The Liverpool ace then put United on blast with some post-match comments, telling Sky Sports:

“There was only one team trying to win the game but unfortunately it did not happen.

“We were superior in all aspects, they were hoping to hurt us on the counter and they are buzzing with a point.”
