David Alaba is the most recent addition to the growing list of casualties. Alaba will be sidelined for the whole season due to an ACL injury he sustained against Villarreal.

According to recent sources, Alaba’s participation in the 2024 Euro may possibly be in peril because of the potential consequences of his absence for the Austrian National Team.

The Merengues are therefore determined to compensate for his absence in defense, and they are currently evaluating a variety of transfer market options.

In fact, according to Arancha Rodríguez (via Madrid Xtra), an old buddy like Raphael Varane would be a probable addition in the forthcoming winter transfer.

Giorgio Scalvini of Atalanta, William Pacho of Eintracht Frankfurt, Antonio Silva of Benfica, and Goncalo Inacio of Sporting are all purportedly being considered as possible Alaba replacements.
