INCREDIBLE: Liverpool star Caomhin Kelleher remove a pie thrown from West Ham end during match

Caomhin Kelleher of Liverpool had to clear a pie off the pitch that seemed to have come from the West Ham end.

A pie appeared to be thrown onto the pitch from the away end

The Reds defeated David Moyes’ team 5-1 at Anfield to advance to the Carabao Cup semi-final.

West Ham was disappointed with the outcome since, had they defeated Liverpool, they would have remained in first place in the competition.

However, some of the disgruntled pilgrims on the road seemed to find other sources of entertainment.

Liverpool goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher was forced to remove the pie

From the recently refurbished Anfield Road End, which accommodates both home and away supporters, a pie was tossed.

When it got to the six-yard box, Reds goalie Kelleher had to pick up the food fragment before he could throw it behind his net.

Due to their win, Liverpool will now play Fulham for a spot at Wembley in February.

He threw it behind his goal

The Cottagers advanced by defeating Everton on penalties, and they may play Middlesbrough or Chelsea in the championship game.

Boro defeated Port Vale, and Mauricio Pochettino’s team eliminated Newcastle in a penalty shootout.

The fact that Liverpool and Chelsea were able to avoid one another in the draw disappointed the fans.
