Each game is unique. Growing up in one of the poorest regions of Colombia, Luis Diaz discusses the early trauma that helped him prepare for his incredible Liverpool debut.
Following his parents’ abduction, Diaz had a “tough night,” thus he wasn’t included in the Liverpool team
Luis Diaz, a winger for Liverpool, stated that he sees every game as a chance to exact revenge for the struggles that have taken him this far in his career.
One of his favourite memories from his youth was seeing coal trains pass by his little village of Barrancas; the coal was mostly bound for Europe.
He had no notion that he would have to overcome the same challenges and completely upend the football world a few years later.
In response to a query about where he acquired his confidence, Diaz said, “In La Guajira,” on UEFA’s YouTube page. Its origins can be found in my lineage. I’ve spent my entire life playing football in my hometown and town.
“These are my characteristics; they have shaped many of the qualities I possess now, and as a result, I have developed far more. That’s how I like to play.
“I see every game as a challenge because I’m always trying to get better, I know there are costs involved, and I have to play with every second I have.”
“What happens next depends on what happened first.”
Colombians insist that unless Luis Diaz’s father is released, the All Football World Cup qualification should be cancelled.
