In preparation for Liverpool’s Premier League match against Newcastle United on Friday, Alexis Mac Allister was back with his teammates.

Monday night under the lights at Anfield will mark the start of 2024 for the Reds when Eddie Howe’s team travels to Merseyside for an 8pm GMT kickoff.

Before that match, Jürgen Klopp’s team was in Kirkby, finishing up a training session at their AXA Training Centre base.
