No longer having a sponsorship deal, the English striker has maximum freedom on the boots choice, tonight chose to wear this very limited model launched in 2016 that celebrated the first 18 years of history of the most iconic Nike football boots.
Nike confirmed earlier this year that they do not have a sponsorship deal with the forward, after they cut ties in February 2022 following his arrest on suspicion of attempted rɑpe, ɑssault and coercive behaviour.
Those charges were subsequently dropped, allowing Greenwood to return to football, but no relationship exists between the sportswear giant and the former England international.
Greenwood has remained an integral member of the Getafe squad this season and the club are now preparing for the next round of cup football.
In a 12-0 victory over CF Tardienta in the opening round of the Copa del Rey, the striker has already scored twice. The Manchester United loanee has also scored three goals in La Liga. Despite being sent off against Rayo Vallecano, he was able to participate in Saturday’s Copa del Rey round of 32 match because the red card was later overturned.
