Ibrahima Konate stated that Liverpool was enjoying the challenge of aiming for four trophies following his outstanding performance in the FA Cup victory over Arsenal.

Liverpool, having defeated Arsenal 2-0 in the FA Cup, is still fighting on four fronts. Luis Diaz’s goal in stoppage time and an own goal by Jakub Kiwior gave Liverpool the victory.

Despite being without both Mohamad Salah and captain Virgil van Dijk, Jurgen Klopp’s team was fortunate in north London as the first goal was set up by a fantastic late cross from stand-in skipper Trent Alexander-Arnold. After that, Diaz scored a strong goal late on to cap off a valiant victory.

In 2022, Jurgen Klopp’s team came close to winning all four. 

They missed out on winning both the Premier League and the Champions League. Both the FA Cup and the Carabao Cup went to the Reds. 

“Yes, I am very happy, but I think the team as a whole was the man of the match,” Konate said to the BBC. I’m overjoyed. We intend to return for the upcoming round.
