‘NOT LOOKING GREAT’ – Jurgen Klopp admits Conor Bradley and what he ‘enjoyed’ in Liverpool’s win

As Liverpool defeated Fulham 2-1 at Anfield in the opening leg of their Carabao Cup semifinal, Jurgen Klopp spoke highly of Conor Bradley, the youthful right back.

After Conor Bradley had a fantastic performance in Liverpool’s 2-1 victory against Fulham in the League Cup semifinals, Jurgen Klopp teased him about “not looking great.”

Trent Alexander-Arnold, the Northern Ireland international, started the match against the Cottagers due to a knee injury. The Reds overcame a deficit to win the game at Craven Cottage later this month with to goals from Curtis Jones and Cody Gakpo.

Conor Bradley erred at the wrong moment, allowing Willian to score Fulham’s first goal. However, the 20-year-old quickly responded with an outstanding defensive display.

Furthermore, Klopp stated that he had been waiting for the ideal moment to utilize the defender once more following his preseason back injury, which prevented him from playing until November.

“I’ve lived a happily ever after. I was waiting for us to be able to give him the opportunity at that particular time,” Klopp said to reporters. “My opinion of him was already high when he got hurt in the preseason, so I could not wait for it.” It was some time afterward that he was not seen again.

“A wonderful boy. Today was not a great day for him. He doesn’t look good in the changing room, so I hope someone drives him home! Nothing is more pleasing to witness than someone giving it their all.

It’s fantastic that he could demonstrate his abilities. Of course, there is yet a lot more to come.

These occur in the first objective. When you defend, there is always a goal involved in one way or another. What matters is how soon you can resume playing. The lack of response was something I really loved.
