Arsenal traveled to Dubai for a week long warm weather, mid-season training camp. It’s a much-needed opportunity for the team to reset, refresh, and refocus for the second half of the season.
The Gunners are in the midst of an improbably poor run of finishing, which has taken a heavy toll on recent results.
Mikel Arteta will undoubtedly put his squad through their paces on the trip, but the chance to lift the players’ spirits and improve the vibes around the team will be equally as important.
The coaching staff have some fun, team-building events / exercised planned to put smiles back on faces. Players were also permitted to bring family this time around, which should help buoy the mood.
Both Thomas Partey and Jurrien Timber traveled with the team, which comes as a bit of a surprise because the pair are still well away from returning to full training.
Gabriel Jesus, Fabio Vieira, and Oleksandr Zinchenko, who are all recovering from minor ailments, all traveled. The complete medical staff, as well as strength and conditioning coaches, are on the trip and will work with both the fit first teamers and the players returning from injury.
