Andre Onana started in Manchester United’s 2-2 draw against Tottenham Hotspur. Man Utd’s goalkeeper delayed his flight to Ivory Coast for AFCON 2024 so he could play in the last match.
When fans left Old Trafford at around 6.30pm, Onana had to make the long journey to Africa immediately. Accordingly, the goalkeeper born in 1996 began a 4,800-mile journey from Manchester to join the Cameroon team on a private plane before the AFCON opening match against Guinea tomorrow morning.
