The stunning Cheshire house that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, the former Manchester United coach, began building in 2007, is occupied by his family.
The legendary player from United lived in Bramhall, Stockport, with his wife Silje and their children for the most of his time with the Red Devils.
Nevertheless, they did buy another property on the outskirts of Alderley Edge, where they demolished a cottage and erected a “eco mansion” in the manner of Scandinavia.
After his tenure with the club ended, he became the coach of Molde in Norway, where his family eventually sold the land.
Construction on the magnificent property started in 2007.
Ole attempted to sell the house in 2016 but was unsuccessful.
The house is situated on 3.4 acres of ground overall.
The house has been rented out as a result, apparently to Virgil Van Dijk, a defender for Liverpool.
There is also a gorgeous swimming pool available.
The brochure also talks of a gorgeous “media room.”
The house also has a gorgeous living kitchen.
However, Solskjaer seemed to confirm today—during an interview with MUTV—that he and his wife will be moving back into the property.
He remarked, “We have truly enjoyed our eight years here in Norway.”
“They will undoubtedly experience a change, but we’re actually looking forward to it,”
“The six months that we, as a family, decided to spend apart because we had no use for them or needed to move them over, are no longer relevant.
We moved in together now, and I started building a house in 2007; we can ultimately move in in 2019.
“What extensive planning!”
Estate agents had created a brochure describing the house when it was put up for sale.
A reception hallway, main drawing room, side hallway, cloakroom, video room, and living kitchen were all mentioned in the ad.
The utility room, storage room, five bedrooms, study space, gym, and garage are also included in the description.
There is a 15 x 7 meter swimming pool room on the property.
In six months, Solskjaer is anticipated to move into the property.
