INCREDIBLY SMART: Klopp hails Alexis Mac Allister as ‘better than ALL sixes’ in the Premier League… as Reds midfielder stars in Liverpool’s 4-0 thrashing of Bournemouth

Following the Argentinean’s standout performance in Sunday’s 4-0 victory over Bournemouth, Jurgen Klopp praised Alexis Mac Allister, a midfielder for Liverpool, saying he is “better than all sixes.”

Mac Allister left Brighton for the Reds in the summer for a fee of £35 million as Liverpool looked to strengthen their midfield after a challenging year.

He adapted to his new environment swiftly, frequently playing in midfield with Curtis Jones and Dominik Szoboszlai as Liverpool soared to the top of the Premier League standings.

With their win over Bournemouth, Liverpool is now five points ahead of Arsenal in second place. Klopp lauded Mac Allister’s strategic thinking in helping Liverpool create opportunities against the Cherries.

“I was now part of the discussions let me say like this I know this boy and since summer we wanted to have him,” Klopp added, elaborating on the 25-year-old’s significance.

“He’s an extremely intelligent player, but he didn’t play the simple six at Brighton.” Very intelligent. He’s also a fantastic six if you can get him into a compact formation mark.

“You can all tell me what you want, but against the ball, he’s just really strong, and he is an outstanding six on the ball—better than all sixes, as you can imagine.”

There might be a few sixes that come from the defensive end, but I don’t know many that are excellent because the pitch is too big and we have to space out to open.

However, he performed flawlessly tonight, even in the second half, I would believe. He was ecstatic a few times in the beginning when he was truly going for it.

The Liverpool manager continued, “He’s a really good player; he’s so calm on the ball and everything.”
Darwin Nunez and Diogo Jota’s doubles in the second half completed a dominant victory for the Reds, who have defeated their south coast rivals three times this season overall.Despite not having a hand in either of the goals, Mac Allister was crucial in creating opportunities for his team in midfield and starting them off quickly when Bournemouth tried to play up high.
This season, the Argentine playmaker has made one goal and provided two assists in all competitions for Liverpool.
