HAPPY MOMENTS: Virgil van Dijk sends an ‘significan’ look to Klopp after scoring against Norwich City in Liverpool’s win

Liverpool beat Norwich City 5-2 in the FA Cup tie earlier today to advance to the round of 16s of the tournament.

The home team’s Curtis Jones gave them the early lead, but Norwich equalized six minutes later, bringing the score to 1-1.

With a superb finish in the 28th minute, Darwin Nunez then gave Liverpool the lead again, and the first half ended with a 2-1 lead.

Liverpool added three more goals to increase their lead in the second half. After Diogo Jota’s incredible half-volley made it 3-1, Virgil van Dijk, who was substituted in, scored a free header from a corner from Dominik Szoboszlai to make it 4-1.

Although Norwich pulled another goal back in the 69th minute, Ryan Gravenberch sealed the 5-2 victory with a late stoppage-time goal.

A viral clip from Van Dijk’s goal captures the player’s reaction, with Liverpool fans noticing that the captain gave manager Jurgen Klopp a significant look, seemingly dedicating the goal to him after Klopp’s unexpected announcement earlier in the week.
