‘RAMPAGE DEVIL’: Fans spotted FOUR times Garnacho make Hojlund angry for Man Utd winger didn’t pass him in win over Newport

Alejandro Garnacho had a frustrating outing for Man United in the 4-2 win over Newport County, a game where he was expected to thrive.

It’s not that he had a quiet game either. Garnacho was able to repeatedly get into the final third, but his final product was poor.

The winger especially frustrated Rasmus Hojlund with his underwhelming decision-making and left the forward fuming on a few occasions.

The first occasion took place around the 20th-minute mark when Garnacho went through into the box. Hojlund was standing all alone in the far post, but rather than pass it to him, the winger took a shot that rattled the post.

The second situation, Garnacho tested the Danish forward’s patience again later in the first half, after bursting into the Newport area on a counter-attack

However, he failed to spot Hojlund ready to score a tap-in in the middle and tried to set up Antony outside the box, who missed.

Rasmus was later seen with his hands up in the air in frustration and complaining to his teammate.

Alejandro had another chance to set things up for Hojlund in the 64th minute after the forward played him through the left. But Garnacho ended up sending in another poor cross that went way past the striker, right to the other wing itself.

Hojlund could not believe his luck and kicked the post in frustration after being denied another potential scoring opportunity.

Fortunately, Rasmus did get his goal late into the game – but if Garnacho’s decision-making had been better, he could’ve had more.

However, 10 minutes before his goal, the Dane was spotted embroiled in a row with a team-mate.

Winger Garnacho charged up the left flank and had plenty of time to pick out a pass to Hojlund.

But instead, the Argentina ace dribbled into Newport’s box before cutting back inside.

Regretfully, Garnacho collided head-on with an approaching adversary.

And as the ball was rightly kicked out of play, Hojlund, who had been waiting at the near post, became quite irate.

The striker could be seen waving his arms about before barking a harsh word at Garnacho.

And fans made sure their own voices were heard as they flocked to social media in the aftermath.

One said: “Gotta feel for Hojlund, his wingers thought they were prime Messi and Ronaldo.”

Another declared: “Garnacho too selfish.”

One noted: “Was that Hojlund screaming at Garnacho? Tell him bro!”

Another added: “Our wingers are starving my striker.”

The young winger has only produced two assists in 29 appearances this season and really needs to improve his awareness in the final third to set up more goals.
