Quoted from talkSPORT, Declan Rice revealed his close relationship with his teammate at Arsenal.
Declan Rice is a famous summer signing in the Premier League after moving from West Ham to Arsenal. At Emirates, Rice quickly integrated. At Arsenal, there are Rice’s England teammates like Bukayo Saka or Aaron Ramsdale.
However, according to Rice, the British couple are not the rookie’s best friends. Sharing quotes from talkSPORT, the star born in 1999 revealed a surprising revelation about his best friend:
“Yeah, you know what, from the first day I was there, Leandro Trossard.
“You wouldn’t put us two together but he’s like a really, really top guy.
“I sat next to him on the plane and I’ve been with him here quite a lot, he’s just an all-round top person. I’ve really got on with him.
“And playing against him in the past as well, he was always a pain so it’s nice to have him on my side now, such a top player.”

Rice would have known a handful of players before making the switch across London this summer.
In the England camp, the midfielder knows Aaron Ramsdale, Bukayo Saka and Ben White.
And he and Eddie Nketiah came up through the Chelsea academy together, meeting each other nine years old.
But, like Rice, Trossard is a new face at Arsenal recently after signing from Brighton in January.
After a strong run, the Belgian international has made an immediate impression on the crowd and proved to be a fan favorite.
In Arsenal’s latest victory over Liverpool, Trossard also contributed 1 goal when coming from the bench.
The manager of Arsenal has been keen to bolster his squad in order to handle the heavier workload needed to contend with multiple opponents.
