Man City stars actively recovered after the match against Copenhagen with gym and pool

Goals from Kevin De Bruyne, Bernardo Silva and Phil Foden helped City to a hard-fought 3-1 win in the first leg of our Champions League clash in the Danish capital.

It means Pep Guardiola‘s men have a healthy lead to defend at the Etihad Stadium in the reverse fixture in early March as our quest to defend the European crown continues apace.

But with another important Premier League clash on the horizon against Chelsea, it was straight back to the grind for our players ahead of the Londoners’ visit on Saturday evening.

As well as taking a plunge in the pool, the squad gave their all in a gym session before travelling back to the City Football Academy to make sure we remain in peak condition.

With a game left to play, City is only two points out of the top spot in the Premier League. If we continue our amazing play through the end of the season, we could win a record-tying fourth straight top flight title.

Man City’s winning streak currently stands at an incredible 11 games, and today’s recovery session demonstrated the players’ resolve to extend that total this weekend..
