‘LAST DANCE FAILED’ – Close-up 3 times Garnacho made poor decision-making that Bruno angry in Man Utd’s victory over Luton Town

Alejandro Garnacho had a really eventful outing in Man United’s 2-1 win over Luton Town at Kenilworth Road.

The Argentine winger’s strike eventually set up Rasmus Hojlund’s cheeky second goal, earning him an unexpected assist.

But after that, Garnacho was unable to locate that unique element in his finished work. He attempted eight shots at the end of the contest, but only two of them were on goal.

Frustrates Bruno

Garnacho had a big chance to help set up a potential third goal soon after Luton pulled one back in the 14th minute.

He was played into the final third and had Bruno Fernandes to his right moving into the box with nobody marking the midfielder.

Garnacho, however, took too many touches and could not play the ball to Fernandes sooner before it was intercepted. This greatly annoyed the captain, who could be seen venting his frustrations.

Again fails to play in Bruno

Garnacho was involved in another moment where he irked Fernandes in the second half after the Red Devils starting regaining control of the game.

Fernandes saw him just inside the box and played a pass to the winger before making a smart run beside him into the area.

However, Garnacho tried to go for a spectacular left-footed curler into the top corner and ended up skying it to the stands instead.

Fernandes was again frustrated after not being played the ball when he was clear through on goal without a marker on him.

Fails to play Rashford through on goal

To his credit, Garnacho worked his socks off in the game and showcased great energy in carrying the ball forward towards the end of the game.

In the 85th minute, he made a nice run into the Luton half and caused the defenders to start panicking a little bit.

Garnacho, however, could not spot Marcus Rashford making a darting run through the right wing.

Rashford was seemingly through on goal, but Garnacho just couldn’t react quickly enough to play him in.

Garnacho is undoubtedly talented, but in order to assist Man United score more goals, he needs to take lessons from incidents like the Luton match and learn to be more selfless in crucial situations. He also needs to release the ball at the right moments.
