ARSENAL put in an uninspiring performance against Porto in their Champions League round of 16 shock defeat.

Mikel Arteta’s side slumped to a 1-0 defeat at the Estadio do Dragao after Galeno netted in the 94th minute.

David Raya proactively blocked most of Porto’s danger chances and only fail over to Galeno’s superb strike

Both Leandro Trossard and William Saliba truly struggled to perform up to their customary levels during the contest.

Trossard had numerous opportunities to score, but Saliba was not playing as well as usual.

Arsenal failed to muster a serious attempt on goal in the first leg, which would have been frustrating for them if they had won.

Has a few questionable moments in the first half but escaped punishment as Galeno could only hit the post.

Recovered to make some important saves to keep Arsenal’s clean sheet.

White did his job at right-back as he was rarely exposed by the Porto attackers.

William Saliba – 4

The defender missed a chance to score in the first half with a poor header.

Saliba lost the ball throughout as he looked a shadow of his usual self.

Gabriel Magalhaes – 6

The Brazilian was much better than Saliba as he helped the side at least manage a clean sheet.

Jakub Kiwior – 5

A quiet game for Jakub Kiwior as he picked up a booking for fouling Fernandes Conceiçao in the second half.

Martin Odegaard -6

Odegaard was Arsenal’s main creator as he tried his best to influence the proceedings.

However he struggled to find the cutting edge at times.
