According to sources in Italy, Manchester United may have a better chance of landing Juventus defender Gleison Bremer this summer.
The Brazil international’s longtime followers have been identified as United on multiple occasions. The team intends to finish revamping its defence before the end of the current campaign, and Bremer is supposedly the first choice for any prospective new sports director Dan Ashworth.
Previous rumours via TEAMtalk state that United has prepared a substantial bid for the centre defender worth €60 million (£51.4 million). Juve now appears more receptive to a potential deal.
Gazzetta dello Sport, an Italian publication, reports that Juventus is getting ready to replace Bremer in the summer. The Serie A team’s top target, Bologna player Riccardo Calafiori, has surfaced; if they can pull it off, Bremer will be able to go to Old Trafford.
