When Kylian Mbappé supposedly departs Paris Saint-Germain in June, the team will require a collective group to replace Mbappé’s production. The Parisians are making plans even if the summer transfer window isn’t yet open.
In the last few weeks, a number of names have been linked to PSG as potential replacements for Mbappé. Luis Díaz, a star player for Liverpool, is one of the more recent names.
Santi Aouna of Foot Mercato claims that Díaz is Qatar’s first priority in order to bolster PSG’s assault, and that the player’s representation has already been contacted.
The article does, however, indicate that the Reds are not interested in selling him. Raul Costa, the player’s agent, and Antero Henrique have a tight relationship. The latter has previously collaborated with PSG, most notably on the 2017 Neymar dossier.
Despite Díaz’s skill, Luis Campos, the capital club’s sporting advisor, has other players in mind to bolster his offensive line. It will be intriguing to watch who prevails as a result, but if Liverpool is unwilling to sell, this case will come to a standstill.
The Colombian international’s transfer worth is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €75 million, and his contract is valid until 2027.
