‘REAL COMPA’: Fans fever Kobbie Mainoo as Man Utd star shows off his CASUAL skills to turn Brazilian star into clown after coming on from the bench for England

Manchester United wonderkid Kobbie Mainoo produced a special moment just four minutes into his senior England debut against Brazil.

The midfielder’s first touch of the ball at international level saw him take the ball from defence before confidently striding into midfield, and he looked full of composure throughout.

But there was one moment that caught fans’ attention more than others.

.

On 80 minutes, Mainoo received the ball before chopping onto his left foot, and then promptly spun beyond Wolves midflelder Joao Gomes after holding him off.

One fan wrote: “We left with something.”

A second said: “You can just see whenever he plays, he has it.”

A third claimed: “Minutes into his England debut, doing this. Kobbie is generational.”

A fourth opined: “How can you watch this boy and think it’s hype… he will be a SUPERSTAR.”

And a fifth simply stated: “Press at your own risk.”

The 18-year-old impressed in United’s 4-3 FA Cup quarterfinal victory over Liverpool on Sunday, and he was a late addition to Gareth Southgate’s team on Tuesday.

Concerns about Jordan Henderson’s fitness led to the selection of Mainoo, who started at Wembley ahead of the Ajax midfielder.

And whilst the result didn’t go England’s way – they lost 1-0 thanks to an 80th-minute goal from Endrick – fans were still impressed by Mainoo’s first cameo as a senior Three Lions player.

Speaking ahead of his England debut on Saturday, Mainoo told BBC Radio 5 Live: “Recently the games have been coming so fast for United, I’ve not really had the time to think about it [getting picked by England].

“I knew the international break was coming up so I thought about it a bit, but still we had so many big games that I couldn’t really take my eye off the ball.

“Now I’m here, obviously I’m taking it all in and it’s amazing.”

Tuesday’s international friendly between the Three Lions and Belgium will be Mainoo’s second chance to earn a senior England cap.
