‘MASSIVE LOSS’ – LFC tipped to lose megastar to Real Madrid as part of ridiculous four-signing spree

A Liverpool star may be the fourth big name to arrive this summer, according to an observer, despite Real Madrid’s declared interest.

The fact that Kylian Mbappe will join Real Madrid this summer is the worst-kept secret in football. Neither the player nor either club has acknowledged that he will be leaving PSG as a free agent. But according to reports from almost every media outlet, including the BBC, an agreement is already in place.

Mbappe, who is currently regarded as the top player in the world, is a monumental success for Real Madrid.

But manager Carlo Ancelotti’s good fortune doesn’t stop there, as Brazilian sensation Endrick is also expected to make an appearance.

After agreeing to a contract with Palmeiras in late 2022, Endrick will travel to Europe this summer to celebrate his 18th birthday.

Many people consider Endrick to be one of Brazil’s brightest prospects in recent memory. Considering the caliber of superstar the nation has produced for the international arena, that is quite the statement.

The full-back spots are open elsewhere, and according to the Athletic, Real Madrid and Alphonso Davies have reached a personal terms agreement.

Real Madrid wants to pay the Bayern Munich left-back no more than €50 million. Sadly, Davies’ contract with the German powerhouse expires in 2025, and unless he surprises everyone by agreeing to a new term, they will have to accept a monetary payout that is less than market value.

Trent Alexander-Arnold of Liverpool is another right-back that Real Madrid has their eye on.

In an attempt to emulate their approach to Davies, Real Madrid plans to either purchase Alexander-Arnold for a nominal amount this summer or hold out until 2025 to sign the 25-year-old for free.

While the Sun said Real Madrid will make a £75 million bid to test the waters, the reliable Fabrizio Romano has verified the team’s interest in the player.

Liverpool handed major potential boost for Manchester United clash as two stars 'aiming' for return

Alexander-Arnold and Liverpool have not yet started contract negotiations. Romano indicated that owners FSG’s reorganization of their structure was the cause of the delay.

However, it could not be long before those discussions start given that Richard Hughes has taken Jorg Schmadtke’s position as sporting director and that Michael Edwards has been rehired as FSG’s overall CEO of Football.

However, Scott Minto, a former defender for West Ham and Chelsea, is certain that Liverpool would suffer a “massive loss” if Alexander-Arnold were to leave the team.

Minto thinks it is feasible for Alexander-Arnold to follow Jude Bellingham’s lead and finally transition to the Bernabeu.

A catastrophic exit for Liverpool with Alexander-Arnold

Minto remarked, “I would be very surprised if there are no talks” regarding Alexander-Arnold’s contractual status.

“After this season, I think he just has one year remaining, and you don’t abandon elite players unless they refuse, so I assume that’s what’s going on. He is curious about the situation, particularly in light of Jurgen Klopp’s reported departure.

“It’s true that Trent is often associated with Liverpool? He nearly represents everything that Liverpool is. ascending the ranks.

“While it would be a huge loss for Liverpool, it would be really interesting from an England perspective to see him go to a team like Real Madrid, just like Jude Bellingham has.”

Naturally, if Alexander-Arnold and Liverpool manage to agree on a contract extension before the summer transfer window starts, rumors about the sensational fourth arrival will fade.

One member of the media, Liverpool expert Neil Jones, thinks a new contract will be hammered out at Anfield.
