WAYNE ROONEY has swapped St. Andrew’s for the beaches of Dubai.
The Manchester United legend was sacked from his position as Birmingham head coach at the start of January after winning just two of his 15 games in charge.

But after a trip to Old Trafford – where he caught up with darts sensation Luke Littler – Rooney has now been spotted soaking up some sun in the United Arab Emirates.
Rooney, 38, took to Instagram to share a snap of his time in the country.

While they were there, the Evertonian and renowned NHL player Alex Ovechkin were pictured together.
The 38-year-old Ovechkin set four records for the most goals scored in a league and was the winner of three NHL MVP awards.
The left winger has won a Stanley Cup in 2018 since joining the Washington Capitals in 2005.
In contrast, Rooney was awarded footballer of the year in 2010 and went on to win five Premier League titles as well as one Champions League.
