Man Utd led the thrilling match 3-2 when he was replaced by Scott McTominay, but the hostile atmosphere had not yet subsided for the Brazilian midfielder.

When he stood up during the final moments of the match, he appeared to block some Chelsea supporters’ view of the game.

A video later emerged on social media showing Blues fans giving Casemiro some X-rated verbals after he obscured their line of sight.

But the ex-Real Madrid man apologised and sat back down, before he made sure he was no longer blocking them, saying: “It’s OK now? Now OK?”

And the Chelsea faithful were very appreciative of his response.

One said: “Hahaha Casemiro is a class bloke.”

Another added: “He’s so polite. I like Casemiro now.”

A third replied: “He seems like a thoroughly nice bloke tbf 😂😂.”

While a fourth said: “He’s so nice tho.”

A fifth responded: “What a man 😂.”

And another added: “Respectful lad.”

Dan King of SunSport was not impressed with Casemiro’s performance against Chelsea.

In addition, Erik ten Hag will be worried about his recent performance before Sunday’s match at Old Trafford against Liverpool.

Man Utd just gained one point from their games against Brentford and Chelsea despite giving up 59 shots.

With just eight games left, they are already nine points behind Tottenham in fifth place, making it extremely difficult for Ten Hag’s team to secure Champions League qualifying.
