Manchester United tied the score with a goal from 50 yards out from Bruno Fernandes in their match against Liverpool.

Alejandro Garnacho’s early goal was disallowed for offside, and throughout the majority of the first half at Old Trafford, United was disadvantaged.

In the 23rd minute, Luis Diaz gave the visitors the lead with a corner kick. Darwin Nunez’s flick-on found the Colombian wide open at the back post.

Erik ten Hag’s team failed to create any meaningful opportunities in the first forty-five minutes and had not taken a single shot at halftime.

In the meantime, during the first half of their Sunday afternoon Premier League match, Jurgen Klopp’s team had 15 shots. 

Despite their difficulties, Bruno Fernandes would eventually help United win after the restart.

Jarell Quansah made a mistake, and the Portuguese midfielder took advantage of it by intercepting a subpar ball from the youthful defense just past the halfway line.

The club skipper struck the ball first and floated his strike over the Irishman’s head to level the score after he noticed Reds goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher was way off his line.

United took the lead and went on the attack, and Kobbie Mainoo scored a spectacular goal to give the home team the lead.

Erik ten Hag’s team was, however, once again unable to hold onto their lead and earn three points, as Mo Salah created history by scoring the most goals of any opponent at Old Trafford in Premier League history from the penalty spot.
