Mario Pasalic received a pass from the ball just outside the six-yard line, setting up the opportunity.

Kelleher, 25, made an incredible move to go over to the midfield player and block the shot with his face.

Kelleher later had a noticeable bruise beneath her eye from the ball.

Fans on X responded quickly to Kelleher’s great improvisation.

A admirer commented, “What a save.”

Someone else remarked, “That’s a good stop.”

However, not all supporters agreed that the rescue was a good one.

“Literally hits him on the head,” an admirer wrote. Not a salvation, Jesus.

“What a stop it hit his face?” exclaimed a fourth enthusiast.

Even with Kelleher’s heroics in the first half, Liverpool had a night to forget.
