HANG THAT IN THE LOUVRE: Harvey Elliott’s outstanding performance with a ‘absolute SCREAMER’ goal helps Liverpool defeat Spurs.

Harvey Elliott’s ‘absolute screamer’ of a goal on Sunday gave Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool team a four-goal lead over Tottenham, and the supporters reacted enthusiastically.

Elliott’s stunning goal at Anfield was, for many supporters, the icing on the cake after an incredible performance that had already seen goals from Andy Robertson, Cody Gakpo, and Mohamed Salah for the home team.

Elliott was set up by Salah, who prodded the ball into his path. Elliott then used his left foot to score a spectacular goal into Guglielmo Vicario’s top corner.

“Elliott is a gem,” one fan said on X, the former Twitter platform. That is absolutely terrifying.

“Harvey Elliott,” another person said. In the Lourve, hang that [sic]. Oh my.

It was a moment to mark a top-quality showing from the 21-year-old midfielder, with one claiming: ‘This Harvey Elliott performance is 10/10.’

Another fan elaborated by noting: ‘Harvey Elliott has really matured. He was always talented, but he has settled and learned and taken his game up by levels.’

‘Harvey Elliott is special. He keeps getting better and influential every time’, wrote another X user.

While Richarlison and Son Heung-min scored goals for Tottenham, the damage had already been done, and Liverpool emerged 4-2 winners.

Jurgen Klopp’s final two games in charge of Liverpool are away to Aston Villa a week on Monday, and at home to Wolves on the final day of the season.
