After scoring his 100th goal for Liverpool in the Merseyside Derby against Everton on Saturday, Mohamed Salah, a standout player for the club, will don a unique pair of Adidas boots in the Champions League this week.
In the third-fewest games, Salah became the first player for Liverpool to reach a century since Steven Gerrard in 2008.Adidas made a customized pair of X Ghosted football boots for Salah to wear in Liverpool’s Champions League match against Ajax on Wednesday in honor of his accomplishment.
In Liverpool’s history, Mohamed Salah became the 17th player to reach 100 goals for the team.Adidas produced special edition X Ghosted football boots for Salah to wear in celebration.Liverpool’s No. 11 will play in a pair of gold and white boots with the limited edition design’s tag “Salah100” down the side.Salah will aim to properly break in his new boots with a goal on Wednesday in their Champions League group stage opener. He did, however, try and test them out in training on Monday.
Known as “Mo’s Golden Touch” The boots have “Salah100” written along the side and are gold and white.
