He could be seen looking over to the stand before heading to the edge of the pitch.

The 26-year-old walked away from the rest of his team-mates to confront the member of the crowd.

Fans could be heard in the background of the video shouting “Rashford, don’t listen to him.”

Rashford made his return to the squad for the visit of Newcastle after being named on the bench by Erik ten Hag.

He has not appeared since picking up a knock in the FA Cup semi-final against Coventry on April 21.

The academy graduate has scored eight goals and provided five assists in 40 appearances for the Red Devils this season.

However, he has scored just twice in his last 10 Premier League matches.

Even though Rashford has been linked to leaving the team this summer, he is ready to fight off any attempts to trade him.

With Rashford still having four years left on his deal from last summer, United is reportedly open to receiving offers of more than £80 million for the player.

After Man Utd won 3-2, Rashford would make a seven-minute cameo appearance.
