Once he finished his final fist pump for the Kop, Klopp addressed the assembly from behind the microphone.

“I’m surprised,” he remarked. I’m not as broken as I had anticipated.

“I’m ecstatic about everything—you guys, the vibe, the game, being a member of this family, and our celebration of this day.

The feeling is not of an end. It’s only the beginning, really. I watched a football team play today that was full of youth, talent, inventiveness, passion, and greed. it’s one aspect of development; clearly, you need it.

“During the past few weeks of receiving excessive attention, I’ve come to several realizations. People claim that I converted them from skeptics to believers.

“That is untrue. You succeeded. No one advises you to give up your faith. This is a better time than in a long time for this club.

‘Thank you. You are the best team in the world. Thank you!’ Klopp

“We have this amazing stadium, this training facility, and you—the global football superpower. Whoa.

We choose whether to be anxious or happy. Our belief is a choice. We make the decision to trust or not trust. I am one of you now, and I will not give up. I continue to believe wholeheartedly.

“It goes without saying that I saw a lot of people cry, and I will tonight as well. Change is good, but I will miss the people. The fundamentals are all in place, so everything will work out just fine.

“Just as you greeted me, you also greet the new management. You put your all into it from the start. You never stop believing. You exert pressure on the group. Now I am one of you. I adore you utterly.

“I’m grateful. The world’s greatest team is yours. I’m grateful.

“I am at a loss for words.”
Then, charismatic till the very end, Klopp led a chant for Arne Slot, the manager of Feyenoord.

Then, 32-year-old Van Dijk said to Sky Sports, “I’m at a loss for words.

“I’ve had a very emotional day. It was going to be a difficult afternoon all along.

“You can’t be ready for these circumstances or these times. He is deserving of all the love he is currently receiving.

Now that he’s grown weary of managing, Klopp is prepared to retire—at least temporarily—with Ulla in their opulent new home on Mallorca.

The 5,000 square meter, £3.5 million property was once owned by Swiss businessman and artist Rolf Knie.

Following Liverpool’s grand finale today, Klopp made hints that he might step down as manager entirely and that he would never, ever play in the Premier League again.

“It’s going to be a long break,” he stated. It could even be that.

“My time in England is definitely over because I will not coach another team here.

“If I manage again, it will not be around the corner.”
