Curtis Jones, a star player for Liverpool, and his partner are expecting their first child. The midfielder’s girlfriend, Saffie Khan, revealed the information in a heartfelt Instagram post.

The couple, who have been together for a while, released a video last year that included footage from their anniversary trip to Paris and details the pregnancy. The video also features a number of scan photos and Saffie telling Jones that there is good news about the baby.

The pair has been together for some time and uploaded a video detailing the pregnancy, including an anniversary trip to Paris last year. The video also shows Saffie informing Jones of positive news regarding the baby, as well as a series of scan photographs.

The video, which concludes with the words ‘to our baby girl’, is backed by Ed Sheeran’s song Photograph, and Jones is praised by some of his Liverpool colleagues.

Jones received words of support from Bobby Clark, Ryan Gravenberch, Stefan Bajčetić, and Nottingham Forest midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White, who has previously played with him in the England team.

Jones, 23, has 35 appearances across all competitions for Liverpool this season. He was a crucial component of Jürgen Klopp’s plans earlier in the season until an ankle injury sidelined him for over two months.

The midfielder has subsequently regained full health and played the final 15 minutes of Monday night’s match against Aston Villa. He hopes to be a part of Arne Slot’s plans next season and commented on his performance earlier in the season.

'To our baby girl'

He told BBC Sport: “I’ve been in and around the team since I was 17, but I feel like I’ve arrived now. I am on the team and performing well. Jürgen transformed me from a youngster to a man, and I am grateful to him.”
