Alexander-Arnold will square off against 27-year-old world champion Magnus Carlsen to see how good he is.

The Liverpool player and Carlsen will go on a major date on October 8 in Manchester, England.

Alexander-Arnold, known as the “Melwood Grandmaster,” is a Liverpool player who Carlsen, a Norwegian, will not be taking lightly.

“The fundamental elements of chess are strategy and talent, much like in football,” Alexander-Arnold, who will receive instruction from two young Kaspersky Lab chess players, stated.

Choose your attack strategy and timing while keeping a tight eye on your defense. The pieces have different positions, qualities, and placements much like players do, therefore you have to know how to take use of these things to achieve the desired result.

Being able to work with Kaspersky Lab excited me. Although I’ve always enjoyed chess, football has always been my first love.

It’s a relief for me. I’ve played since I was very small, and more recently, we still schedule games even though Ben Woodburn is presently in Sheffield.

“Magnus will be a challenging test, but with Kaspersky Lab’s help, I think I could surprise people.”

The mentors for Alexander-Arnold are twelve-year-old Kyan Bui and nine-year-old Shreyas Royal.

Co-coach Shreyas said, “Even though Trent is ten years my senior, I am confident in helping him shock Magnus,” through his father Jitendra Singh.

“I am excited to work with him in the hopes of upsetting the “unbeatable” Magnus Carlsen, since I can tell that his chessboard proficiency matches his skill level on the field.”

In a 12-game competition scheduled for November 9–28 in London, Carlsen will defend his world title against American Fabiano Caruana.
