Robertson skippered his country in their final warm-up game before Euro 2024, which saw them draw 2-2 with Finland at Hampden Park.

The Reds defender played his part in both of Scotland’s goals on the night, with his cross turned in for an own goal to open the scoring before a deep delivery was converted by Lawrence Shankland soon after.

Robertson was withdrawn just past the hour mark and Finland went on to score twice late on and salvage a draw.

On a personal level, Robertson’s appearance was his 49th as Scotland captain – a new national record for the men’s team.

At Wembley, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Joe Gomez were both second-half substitutes for England, who were beaten 1-0 by Iceland in a friendly.

In particular, Trent Alexander-Arnold had 3 passes after only 15 passes in over 25 minutes

Liverpool teammate Jarell Quansah was an unused substitute for the Three Lions.
