Even though Jurgen Klopp moved to Spain to start a new life, it seems like he can’t fully leave Liverpool behind. In the sun, he posed for photos with old teammate Brendan Rodgers.
After nine successful seasons leading the Reds to multiple domestic cup victories, including victories in the Premier League and Champions League, Klopp left the Anfield club at the end of the season.
Liverpool won the Carabao Cup in his final season in charge, but they were unable to complete an unprecedented quadruple; still, Klopp left with a strong win over Wolves.
Then, before heading to Spain to start the new chapter of his life, he was given one last farewell with an intense question and answer session at the Liverpool M&S Bank Arena.
Nevertheless, he might have expected a more rapid return to his Anfield past after running into his former Reds teammate Rodgers, who was speaking with a journalist in Belfast.

Klopp bid farewell to Liverpool after nine successful years at the end of the 2023-24 season.
The two ex Liverpool managers then posed for a picture with the Northern Irish journalist, Steven Beacom, the German’s wife Ulla capturing the moment.
Beacom posted the picture with Klopp and Rodgers all smiles, with the caption: ‘Three guys out in the Spanish sun, two magnificent managers and one fun pic…
‘Great to see Brendan and Jurgen looking so relaxed and enjoying themselves.’
Klopp has been enjoying his time off from football, having already been spotted at the Champions League final to watch his former side Borussia Dortmund take on Real Madrid at Wembley back in May.
MailOnline revealed in May that Klopp was set to stay at a luxury five-star hotel in the Balearic Islands.
Klopp will stay in the hotel in five-star Kimpton Aysla Hotel with his wife of 20 years, Ulla, while construction work finishes on their new £3.4million villa.
The mansion has been billed as an ‘ecological family paradise’, which he purchased in June 2022 for €4m (£3.4m) from Swiss businessman and artist Rolf Knie and decided to completely rebuild.
Klopp took to his newly launched Instagram account to update fans after embarking on holiday following his departure from Anfield, which has included playing padel.
He also took part in a Q&A session on Merseyside after the end of the campaign as a final farewell
Last month, Klopp was spotted in the stands watching the Champions League final between Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund, his old team.
What have I been doing? Developing my game! A video was captioned by Klopp.
“The big farewell was five days ago,” Klopp remarked. I’m still trying to make sense of everything that transpired that day and the days that followed. Now a little more at ease.
“I’m not sure if I expressed myself clearly enough, but thank you so much for everything.”
“It was a wonderful day; thank you for your love and support.”
“The most amazing experience I could have ever imagined,”
Right now, I’m trying—no, I’m pursuing my other major passion—improving my padel skills.
I began a few days ago; this is my third session. I didn’t play for a long at first and felt the effects right away.
Klopp took to Instagram to reveal he has been playing padel at the start of his holiday
.
Again reflecting on his farewell to Liverpool, Klopp talked about his love of padel.
“I’ll get there step by step.”
While all is going on, Rodgers will be enjoying his time off after a fantastic double-back campaign at Celtic, when he successfully repelled Rangers’ challenge to maintain Celtic’s dominance in Scottish football.
