MAGIC: Luis Diaz scored one goal and provided an assist in Colombia’s 3-0 victory over Bolivia, capping off a successful preparation for the Copa America

Colombia finished their Copa America preparations on a high note on Saturday, defeating Bolivia 3-0. On the other hand, the Verde team’s last match before the continental tournament ended in a debacle that led to three player suspensions.

At Rentschler Field in East Hartford, Connecticut’s Pratt & Whitney Stadium, the team led by Argentine Néstor Lorenzo destroyed their opponents. Goals from midfielder Jhon Arias, forward Jhon Córdoba, and winger Luis Díaz sealed the victory.

From the beginning, the coffee farmers exerted control and caused harm through their alliances and influence.

Arias scored with a right-footed strike in the fifth minute after snatching the ball from the opponent’s exit. Díaz beat a lot of opponents with skill, but he dropped the ball close to the goal.

Meanwhile, the Bolivians were having trouble passing the ball to their rarely used strikers, Bruno Miranda and César Menacho.

In the 25th minute, Díaz delivered Córdoba a low cross from Krasnodar, and Colombia scored two goals. With his back to the ball, Córdoba received it and fired a shot that Guillermo Viscarra was unable to block.

The only opportunity in the first half for Brazilian Antonio Carlos Zago’s team came in the 35th minute when Camilo Vargas denied Fernando Saucedo’s hard shot.

After a feed from Colombian winger Deiver Machado, Díaz scored 3-0 by taking advantage of a defender in the 42nd minute.

The second half saw the coffee growers slow down the game’s tempo, and the Verde hardly had a chance when full-back Roberto Fernández crossed the ball and Diego Medina came close to finishing cleanly.

After defender Héctor Cuéllar gave Díaz a hard attack in the 67th minute, players from both teams got into an altercation on the field.Hình ảnh về 5 người đang chơi bóng đá và văn bản đang mọi người.

Following a brawl, Colombian full-back Daniel Muñoz and Bolivian striker Menacho were ejected by Mexican referee Daniel Quintero.

Both teams had finished their preparations for the continental tournament, and the final score remained the same.

Bolivia’s Copa América debut is scheduled for Sunday, 23 against the United States at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Colombia’s opening game is scheduled for the following day at NRG Stadium in Houston against Paraguay.
