The newspaper Mundo Deportivo says that Liverpool is in talks about a deal to sign Feyenoord star David Hancko this summer.

 The 26-year-old has had a great time at De Kuip Stadium under Arne Slot since he joined the club in 2022. But now that the Dutch manager has moved to Anfield, it looks like he is ready to work with the Slovak again at the Merseyside club.

Liverpool wants to buy Hancko and has already talked to Feyenoord to find out how to do it.

 

The Slovak player could be bought for about £29.5 million, but Atletico Madrid and Leicester City have also shown interest in signing him, so the 19-time English winners still have to deal with competition.

One thing that might help Liverpool get Hancko to move to Anfield this summer is the fact that he is said to have loved the Reds since he was a child.

 

Tim De Cler, a former Dutch defender, thinks the 26-year-old is ready for the next step in his career and is ready to play for a big club like Liverpool.

The Feyenoord star is a left-footed defender who is 6 feet 2 inches tall and very good at his job. Additionally, he is skilled at moving out from the back, which means that Liverpool might be smart to buy him.
