With the first players reporting back to the team’s AXA Training Centre last Friday, Liverpool’s official preseason under new head coach Arne Slot got underway.

Salah is one of the celebrities who has not yet returned, having been given further time off by the team following his participation in Egypt’s World Cup qualifying last month.

The superstar Egyptian has made the most of his last few days off, but he is scheduled to report back soon.

A fan caught Salah strolling through the streets of Mykonos; the 32-year-old has been visiting the well-known Greek island frequently in recent years.

Salah has been enjoying his time off after another gruelling campaign for club and country

In order to put an end to speculation about his future, Salah signed a phenomenal £400,000 per week contract in Mykonos, extending his contract until 2025.

When he was seen lounging on the beach in the sun the previous year, he had returned to the island.

Following the demanding 2023–24 season for the Liverpool star, Salah’s most recent journey will have been greatly needed.

Throughout the season, the 32-year-old appeared in 44 games for the Reds across all competitions.

In addition, Salah participated in ten international games, including two African Cup of Nations appearances for Egypt.

The forward’s campaign came to an abrupt stop in their second game due to a hamstring injury.

When Salah meets with the new Reds manager, Arne Slot, upon his return to Liverpool, a big decision about his future will also be made.

The 32-year-old, who has one year remaining on his Liverpool contract, has long been sought after by Saudi Arabian sides hoping to make a big-money move.
