Liverpool’s right-back There are rumours that Trent Alexander-Arnold may be joining Real Madrid this summer after he was seen signing a fan’s shirt.

With only a year remaining on his Anfield deal, Alexander-Arnold has been linked to a move to the Bernabeu in recent months.

But the Reds ‘are optimistic he sign a new agreement and extended his stay’ at his boyhood club, according to talkSPORT.

While on vacation in the US, he signed a young fan’s shirt, which may have sparked suspicions of a move to Los Blancos.

Jude Bellingham, a Madrid midfielder and close friend of Alexander-Arnold’s, was spending some time together.

While many speculated that duties would be reserved and Alexander-Arnold could convince England’s star to join Liverpool before he joined for Madrid, Bellinghame and Alexander-Arnold have become close friends since Bellingham was added to the England squad two years ago.

However, it did not materialise, and now the situation is reversed, with Bellingham’s future determined and Alexander-Arnold’s uncertain.

The two became even closer in Germany during England’s journey to the Euro 2024 final, and now that they are great friends, they have taken a much-needed vacation together.

They were spotted having fun together earlier this week in Los Angeles, and they were later photographed getting out and about with their entourages.

They had dinner at the famed Nobu Malibu, which would have given Bellingham the ideal chance to broach the subject of a possible move with his pal.

Alexander-Arnold’s present contract expires in a year, thus an agreement might be reached as early as January. Pre-contract agreements could be struck a few months before the expiration.

If that transpires, it wouldn’t be the first high-profile free transfer that Madrid has successfully negotiated; Mbappe is expected to expire his contract with PSG in France and go to Spain this summer.
