Kobbie Mainoo has shown his new haircut ahead of the 2024-25 season with Manchester United.

The skilled midfielder is preparing for this year’s campaign after losing the Euro 2024 final to Spain.

Despite early criticism of the Three Lions, the 19-year-old was one of the standout performers.

He had a breakout season at Old Trafford last year, establishing himself as a regular under Erik ten Hag before earning his stripes with the Three Lions ahead of the European Championship.

He has now resorted to social media to show off his shiny new hairstyle before the season begins.

The midfielder struggled to make an impact when Spain defeated England 2-1 in the final.

He has finally revealed his new hairstyle for the upcoming 2024-25 Premier League season.

After England lost 2-1 to Spain on Sunday, Graeme Souness criticized Mainoo earlier this week for “not understanding his position.”

Mainoo began the tournament as a substitute, but he performed well enough to start all four of the tournament’s knockout games. Gareth Southgate had previously tried with Trent Alexander-Arnold, Conor Gallagher, and Declan Rice in midfield.

After just eight caps for his country, the teenager made an impression as one of England’s finest players against Slovakia, Switzerland, and the Netherlands, securing a spot in the final.

Mainoo struggled to make an impact during the final in Berlin and was replaced midway through the second half by substitute Cole Palmer, who cancelled out Nico Williams’ strike with a superb equaliser from outside the box before Mikel Oyarzabal scored a heartbreaking 86th-minute winner for Spain.

Despite agreeing that Mainoo is’very talented on the ball’, Souness criticized the kid for his ‘naivety’ in an England shirt, alleging that he ‘wanders’ too far from his midfield position.

‘I believe he’s incredibly good and talented with the ball,’ Souness said on the Up Front podcast.

‘But he doesn’t reall understand the situation. He wanders, and he empties the middle of the field too quickly.

‘I watched him against Iceland (in England’s final Euro 2024 warm-up game), and he was getting flung to the left and right.

‘He came on as a substitute with England leading 1-0 (in their first Euro 2024 match against Serbia), and the first thing he did was chase down the goalkeeper and put him under pressure. It’s naivety; he’s still learning the game.
