Barcelona has agreed to pay RB Leipzig’s asking price and is expected to sign Dani Olmo this summer.
Consequently, what happened?
Barcelona seems to have lost out on Athletic Club’s Nico Williams, but they are now keen to sign Dani Olmo, another Spanish international, from RB Leipzig this summer. Sport reports that Blaugrana sporting director Deco made a second offer of €50 million (£42 million) set plus an additional €15 million (£12 million) after the German club rejected their first offer for being “insulting.”

PANORAMA
The Catalans’ current offer is higher than Leipzig’s asking price for the player, which is set at €60m (£50m), and they therefore remain confident that a deal will be agreed soon so that the attacking midfielder can join Hansi Flick’s squad before the start of the upcoming 2024/25 season.
DO YOU KNOW?
The Catalan giants also believe a personal agreement with the player will be reached soon as Olmo would be happy to return to the club he left 10 years ago as a teenager.
