Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah upset Arsenal with a magnificent solo goal in Philadelphia to open the score.

Liverpool and Arsenal will soon play a friendly preseason game in the United States. It can be argued that the Kop’s massive fan base is superior to that of the Gunners at Lincoln Financial Stadium, home of the Philadelphia Eagles of the NFL.

Before the game, though, Liverpool supporters should be concerned about superstar Mohamed Salah’s terrible warm-up performance. During shooting practice, the 32-year-old was unable to put the ball in the net. The majority of his shots missed the goal or went over the crossbar.

After ‘warming up’ his body for a few minutes, Salah seemed very dissatisfied. However, everything changed dramatically when he entered the battle and displayed his star quality. Salah blasted past Oleksandr Zinchenko on the right wing after Harvey Elliott’s ball, eluding Gabriel and Jakub Kiwior’s blocks. Subsequently, the Egyptian player composedly sent the ball into Arsenal custodian Karl Hein’s net. With a hallmark move, Salah demonstrated to American football fans why he is considered one of the best players in the world.

With 211 goals to his name, Salah is presently fifth in the club’s all-time scoring records, making him one of Liverpool’s greatest scorers.
