According to BBC (quoted from Mirror), Arsenal is looking for an opportunity to recruit striker Julian Alvarez.

 

Arsenal are still searching for a quality striker ahead of the new season. Before EURO 2024, they contacted Benjamin Sesko, but not long after that the Slovenian striker signed a new contract with his parent club RB Leipzig.

Alvarez is on Arsenal’s radar.

 

 

At the moment, Mirror reports that Arsenal are targeting Man City striker Julian Alvarez . However, the Gunners may have to sell more players to raise money to buy the 2022 world champion.

Marseille have asked Arsenal about Eddie Nketiah this week. The French side have agreed personal terms with Nketiah, but have yet to pay the Gunners’ desired transfer fee. Marseille’s latest offer is €27 million, while Arsenal want at least €35 million for the deal.

Meanwhile, Arsenal are not the team interested in Alvarez this summer. Atletico Madrid are in talks with Man City about the transfer of the Argentine striker. Alvarez’s future will be clearer when he returns to the team.
