Fabrizio Romano says that a lot of teams are interested in the highly-rated Dutch international after he did well on loan at RB Leipzig this season. Barcelona is the newest team to want to sign him, and a well-known writer says Simons will decide what he wants to do with his career before Euro 2024.

“Xavi Simons and PSG will decide his future before the Euros,” Romano wrote on the social media site X. “PSG don’t want to sell Xavi this summer, though.” RB Leipzig also can’t afford to make the move permanent. Barça is pushing for a loan move, and teams in Leipzig and the Premier League are also interested. It will be up to Xavi to decide on the loan.

People all over Europe want to buy Simons for a good reason. This season, the 21-year-old has helped set up 24 goals in 42 games across all tournaments. He will be a key player for the Netherlands this summer. Even though they lost the title, Barcelona is still having trouble spending a lot of money on players. They need to take a step toward Real Madrid in La Liga next season. In the past, they have been known to have to pull “levers” to pay deals.

The 13-time international is getting ready for a big summer because Euro 2024 is coming up soon. He only has two more games on loan at Leipzig. After that, he will meet with his managers and family to decide where he will play football in 2024–25.
