MARCUS Rashford embarked on a 12-hour tequila binge, passed out at 3 a.m., and then called in sick hours later.

The Manchester United striker, 26, was dropped for last Sunday’s FA Cup match against Newport County after missing training due to two days of binge drinking in Belfast.

A waitress who accompanied the Manchester United star on his alcohol binge revealed last night that he was “on a mission to get drunk”.

 

 

She said the sloshed striker drank tequila shots and cocktails before collapsing fully clothed on a hotel bed shortly before 3 a.m.

 

Rashford had spent two days partying in Belfast while visiting a friend, and he returned to Manchester at 7 a.m. on Friday via private plane.

 

However, he called in sick for training and was later fined £650,000 (two weeks’ pay) and pulled from the FA Cup fixture against Newport County last Sunday.

 

He was photographed arriving at training yesterday morning, ahead of showdown discussions with United officials.

 

Last night, Belfast waitress Sarah Adair, 30, described how she served the footballer lunch before he invited her to a party with him.

 

She claimed they then had a “weird” night out, culminating in her having to put him to bed after he drunkenly spilled large wads of cash on the floor.

 

Sarah commented, “I’m not surprised he missed training the next day given how late he went to bed and how much he’d had to drink.” He must have known he wasn’t going to be fit enough to play football.”

 

The mother of one was working on Thursday afternoon when a two-man security crew arrived and requested a modest table for a “high-profile” VIP party.

 

Sarah assumed it was a well-known actor, such as James Nesbitt or Jamie Dornan because the city is a popular film location.

 

When Rashford walked in, she didn’t recognize him and only realized he was a footballer until her United-obsessed manager informed her.

 

She explained: “He was with two males and two ladies. One was plainly a buddy, while the other was French and stunningly attractive.

 

“She appeared to be with Marcus based on how they interacted.” She was stroking his knee, and he was touching her arm, but the talk revealed that they did not know each other very well. It was as if he had just met her.

 

Rashford has already visited Larne FC after his football pal Ro-Shaun Williams signed with the Northern Irish club.

 

As Sarah served the party, Rashford mentioned that he had attended the Dirty Onion bar and Lavery’s pub the night before after flying into the city.

 

He ordered sea bass and then asked her where she liked to go out, adding, “You should come out with us and show us around.”

 

Meanwhile, Sarah’s manager respectfully asked Rashford’s bodyguards if he could photograph him, but they declined because he was on a “business trip”. They also turned down Sarah’s request to sign an autograph for her uncle.

 

Rashford, according to Sarah, did not touch his lunch and was more interested in the tequila on offer while downing shots and drinking cocktails with his friends.

 

He eventually surrendered on his photo restriction and agreed to pose for a picture as long as Sarah’s management let her depart early so she could meet them later.

 

Sarah commented, “I thought he was joking. “My boss agreed.”

 

She continued: “I’d never been out with a Premier League footballer before, so I thought, ‘Why not?’” Little did I know how strange it would be.”

 

Before departing, Rashford asked Sarah if she knew of any nightclubs that would stay open past the regular 3 a.m. closing time if he paid enough money.

 

She claimed, “That made it plain to me that he had already decided not to workout on Friday. He hadn’t planned to go home that night.”

 

Sarah finished her shift early at 5 p.m., went home, and returned to the city centre about 7 p.m.

 

She messaged Rashford’s minder as planned, but was left alone at a bar for nearly three hours before a Mercedes van arrived at 9.40 p.m. and a security guard picked her up.

 

She was requested to hand over her phone and not identify who she was with or where she was going, but she may tell her mother.

 

The taxi transported Sarah to the Villa Italia restaurant, where Rashford was with his entourage and two other local women who had also been invited.

 

Sarah stated that Rashford had reserved the top floor and brought his own Bluetooth speaker to play his favorite rap music.

 

He was dressed completely in white, with a diamond-encrusted watch on each hand, six or seven silver diamond chains, and two diamond rings. He also had two identical iPhones on his table.

 

She claimed Rashford had also brought his own bottle of tequila. Sarah recounted, “I pulled up a chair and sat next to him, and we all talked.”

 

“Marcus was confident, yet sometimes appeared shy. He seemed to be unaware of his own identity. He gives off the impression that he believes, ‘I’m a footballer, I’ve got tons of money, and I can do whatever I want. “His friends treated him as if he were god.”

 

Sarah says Rashford ordered bruschetta but didn’t eat it because he dislikes tomatoes with seeds.

 

She claims the singer, who was only eating bread, informed her: “I’ve been drinking all day.”

 

Sarah continued, “They were still drinking tequila and passing around a bottle of Patron, and he had ordered a round of limoncello. He was plainly determined to become drunk.”

 

She stated one of Rashford’s buddies reminded him that he had training in the morning, but the player insisted on going out.

 

When one of the girls identified Thompson’s Garage nightclub as a location to go, Rashford inquired whether the DJ would allow him to play his own music.

 

After dinner, the group separated into girls and guys and drove to Thompson’s, where clubbers caught Rashford’s arrival.

 

The gang then went to a private location called The Attic and ordered even more drinks. Rashford and the French girl reportedly clashed after she accused him of kissing another woman.
