Al Nassr striker Cristiano Ronaldo has become the first player to score in 23 consecutive seasons.
Ronaldo scored his first goal of the 2024/2025 season as his team beat Al Taawoun 2-0 in the Saudi Super Cup semi-final.
The Portugal captain doubled the lead after Ayman Ahmed opened the scoring in the eighth minute. Ronaldo fired home from inside the box after a back pass from Sultan Al Ghanam.
With this goal, Ronaldo became the first player in football history to score at least one goal in 23 consecutive seasons .

The streak dates back to the 39-year-old ‘s first career goal , when he scored a brace for his boyhood club Sporting CP against Moreirense on 7 October 2002.
Last season, Ronaldo scored 35 goals in the Saudi Arabian Premier League alone to break the league’s single-season scoring record. He also added 11 assists, contributing a total of 46 goals in just 31 appearances.
